Our Flagship Events

Gajasanskruti

The main objective behind this event is to ensure that the streets remain clean even after Ganpati Bappa's departure, emphasizing the importance of environmental cleanliness and waste management.
Last year, the event was a tremendous success, with over 10 large bags of waste, weighing around 3 to 3.5 tones, collected from the streets. We were incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we received from all our partners, participants, and volunteers, which make this event a resounding success. We aim to take forward the legacy of this event and continue it with greater enthusiasm and bigger goals for its ninth year!

Rendezvous

Rendezvous is a mega flagship event of Rotaract Club of Pune Mideast started in the year 2017-18 and is been celebrated for past 7 years.
Rendezvous is a post Diwali meet up wherein Rotaractors from all over Rotaract District 3131 gather to celebrate and enjoy together. All rotaractors spend time and enjoy amazing fun activities together along with delicious food.

Shape the Junk

Shape the Junk is the Mega Flagship event of Rotaract Club of Pune Mideast which provides a platform for fashion students through an unique competition! Before the event, a clothes collection drive takes place all over Pune wherein our members collect old clothing from donors.
The event starts with the contestants choosing the clothing they would like to use for draping through a large pile of clothes in 3 minutes! They have to use all of the clothes they collect without tearing or damaging them. After this, they get 2 hours to drape the models from their team.

Finally, they showcase their beautiful work through a ramp walk. After the first round, only 12 teams are selected to explain their design and speak to the judges. The top three winners from this round are awarded a cash prize from the pool of ₹10000!

The Red Woman

Every year, Rotaract club of Pune Mideast organizes its pad donation drive, known as "The Red Women."
This event is our mega flagship event and it has been organized for the past 5 years.

We believe that every girl deserves the right to manage her menstrual health with dignity and through this initiative, we aim to empower these girls by providing them with the necessary resources to lead healthy, confident lives
