Rotaract Club of Pune Mideast is thrilled to announce that, we have successfully conducted our most awaited and one of the biggest Flagship event in RID 3131, known as
Shape The Junk 7.0
Under this Project, we started old clothes collection drive from the month of December in the entire Pune city. In this period of 2 months we collected over 5000+ old clothes. At the same time, we started approaching fashion institute students across Pune to register for Shape The Junk 7.0. We received a huge response of more than 150+ participants.
On the day of the event we pile all the clothes together and all the registered teams were given 5 minutes to collect clothes of their choice. Later all the teams designed a beautiful costume out of these collected clothes. All the designed costumes were looking beautiful.
Later all these participants presented their beautiful costumes infront of our judges, chief guests, guest of honour and a wonderful crowd of 1000+ people. Among all these 40 participants, top 12 participants were selected for round 2, where they had to answer few questions. All the three winning teams were awarded with a cash prize of 10,000₹.
